im not a fan of xmas, its alright for the kids but its not as exciting anymore and people tend to have their decorations up in september etc. And the thing is even with the kids (basing this on my nephews) they got everything anyway and the toys they get they play with them once and thats it
I dont mind this time of your mind because it means i can cuddle up in the warmth etc and thats a nice feeling smileys/smiley17.gif

Honestly. my opinion is this.

If you've got such money problems that giving presents to the people that love you is annoying then you're even worse than i thought at first.

We can all spend money on our cars, and get drunk cos that's all about us. Being selfish only got you less friends and a lot less attention from people that actually have some meaning.

My advice, change jobs, start actually looking closer to home and start thinkign about what youwould say if people gave you FCUK all at christmas.

(i don't know you guys or your situations but the above statement is not a personal attack. just an opinion)

We are having a christmas with a difference this year, were keeping the presents to a low as my brother is getting married in greece next year & we need to save up for it, so we're on a tight budget this year.

Ive never bought my family any presents, appart from when i was with my ex & i gave her the money & she went out & bought me things.

The way i see it, is if your not relgious then you shouldnt celebrate relegious things, i'd be happy to live life without christmas & all the other things you celebrate.

Christmas is wicked, it is all about having a laugh and enjoying it. The best part is buying people pressies last year i spent loads )cause i had a good christmas bonus) go out for a few beers, everyone is in good sperit this time of year!! and i agree with what Oz said!& nbsp;& nbsp; smileys/smiley4.gif

enjoy xmas cos it's a time to actually get back together with people i haven't seen for a while and it's kinda a necessity.

and as for it being religious...yes it's religious in a way, but coca cola were the first to create a picture for father christmas, and since then it's become a commercial experience.

Christmas to me is a reason to celebrate having a family and enjoying their company. How you do that is your bag!
