it will run it using 1 output! but ideally you need a 2 channel amp for 2 subs, not a mono.

noob, you can easily run 2 subs of a mono block

alternativly, my JBL mono has 2 output "channels", if you just want to run 1 sub id use 1 pair of terminals, for 2, id use both... same as a 2 channel amp, you just dont bridge, however running them in the way ive just explained with a pair of 2ohmDVC subs would only acheive 2 subs at 4ohm, instead of 2 x 2ohmDVC subs running at 2ohm

subs = 400wrms @ S4ohm x 2 = 800wrms @ 2ohm (if wired like diagram 1 in the link i posted earlier), and this amp powers 800wrms @ 2ohm, so perfect power match

JBL have some of the finest budget audio systems around, i thought something was up, both the pioneer & boss amp seemed pretty ambitious in terms of RMS figures
