in my 106 rally the needles sit above what there ment to be for e.g. my rev counter is on about 300rpm when not turned on and my speedo is on 10mph lol aswell as oil temp and coolant but my fuel gauge is fine lol
do i need new dials?

I have no idea why, but could you not just get the dials out, take them apart and pop the needles off and pop them back on in the place they're supposed to be.

im not sure, the dial paper thing is diffrent as it a lockwood dial

That's why then.
Whoever changed the dial faces didnt put the needles on in the right spot :y:

Remove the dials from the car, then unclip the black cover and you will have access to the needles.
Pull off whatever needles are on in the wrong places, you may need some needle nose pliers for the smaller ones and a good tip I got from somebody on here for the big ones is to use two teaspoons to lever up from either side of the needles if you can't pull them off by hand.
Then just push them back on in the correct possition :y:

The only thing I can think of is a voltage regulator fault,which is on the instrument circuit board I think.
