cooling fan

the cooling fan used to kick in last year when it reached about the halfway mark, but as the winter months creeped in it hardly came on and now it doesnt kick in at all, no matter how hot the car is :S any ideas?

could be a sensor also

right, i've checked the connectors, iv checked the plastic covering of the wiring because i got told that sometimes they just disintegrate or something.. i havent checked the fuse. is the fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet or next to the passenger seat?
