just went to kwik fit and they found the only part of my exhaust that is salvagable is the cat. So rather than get standard exhaust i am sitting waiting for custom system to be built at rsr. Im happy i get new shiny exhaust but sad i am over £350 poorer !

£350 for a cat back system? you just got fucked mate.

And tbh, there was a guy asking about their systems recently as kwikfit broke his son bumper claiming it was standard with a big hole in it, cancel the order mate and get a second opinion on your current one cannot stress this enough

KWIKFIT ARE ROBBING LYING BASTARDS AVOID!!!

An import Mugen cat-back dual exit costs me £1200 supplied. Pocket money lol :A:

(Cheaper alternatives include a Mongoose for £420 or a HKS for £470).

Too loud for my tastes, but very popular with the Civic owners.

Not sure, Mugen supply Honda racing parts, prep race cars etc, so their parts are going to cost a lot. Also, you have to import stuff from Japan directly quite often, so you have to pay import costs etc.

Newer models like Civic Type R's have a wider range of performance parts in the UK, so getting gear for them is cheaper. For my car, I often have to look at USA or Japan for performance parts. Its all part of the import scene y0. Fords and cit's are soOo cheap to mod in comparison :(

Came to £300 in the end !
dunno why alot of you got such a downer on kwik fit, i used the same one for 6 years and they never let me down if anything they gone above and beyond what i expect from them even after my friend stopped working there. The one i went to today was different place closer to my new house and they were honest and friendly and i knew exhaust was in dier need of replacement anyway. I ended up at RSR on the recomendation of the guy that works at kwik fit due to quality of system and the lifetime warranty and the fact that prices were very similar, dont sound like a load of rip off merchants to me ?

fail! split-r is designed to leak. forge 007p or bailey dv30 is what you should really run on 1.8t's ;)
