Who's got a Snooper/Roadangel or something of the like (basically a speed camera detector). Are these good/accurate and worth the money?

I'm looking at getting a Snooper S2 Neo as they're only £45 brand new with lifetime updates, only want something to do the job basically, tell me when I need to slow down and be extra careful (accident blackspots etc!)

Surely for £45 you can't go wrong at the risk of saving yourself a £60? Anyone got one of these and what you think then? Don't suppose anyones got the S2 neo specifically either?

The one i'm looking at - CLICK (http://www.snooperuk.com/products/snooper_s2/index.html)

i used to drive a company car with a snooper in.. not sure which but it was like £200... and that was really good, even flashed and made noises when a police car was near by

imo they're worth it :)

GF's dad has one not the S2 but he swears by it, tells you if cameras are on or off and if they have or dont have film too he overtook me once as he knew the camera was off hes had it for 3 years now and never been caught speeding!

Also whilst he was in spain he bought some gadget the acts as a parking sencor for the front of your car which you turn on inside the car and rebonds the traffic gun signals and if they pull you then just say you apologise you was parking up and forgot to turn the parking sencor off lol

thought they were making these illegal?

Any links/articles on that? As far as I'm aware they aren't.. How can they? They can't prove your using it to avoid getting caught speeding, when really they're just being used so you can be aware of areas which require extra attention because of the higher risks.

Why not? Surely you'd just buy one and leave it on everytime..? Also, are roadangels worth the extra money vs a Snooper 2? Eg Roadangel Compact or whatever it's called! Surely they all do the same thing in essence? Or does road angel compact offer something worth the extra dough that i'm missing?

I'm suprised you don't have one already Peej, the road angel comes with a 'Primary School alert'. ;)
