VTR PRICE ADVICE

Im thinking of selling my 1998 S plate VTR, 82,000 on the clock, lowered 40m, lexus lights,full stainless steel mongoose exhaust systme, full body colour coded, m3 mirrors, myself and 1 owner from new, full service history, mot til June, tax til dec.

Recently replaced: 4 tyres,radiator,battery.

Private Reg S2 XOA would consider selling with car for right price but have been offered £600 for it.

What do you think I would get for it if i sold it, i dont want to make an ass of myself by asking for to much?????smileys/smiley9.gif

i think between £2500 and £3000 would be a realistic price , maybe more if your lucky

id say 1500 tbh mate, with 82k on the clock and it being 8 years old

i think 1500 standard you would be right but with the nice subtle mods and what youve done plate included realistically 2500 tops as people tend to go mk2-3 now even if others have lower milage and stuff!

It sounds sweet as and the paint work and body work is immaculate, not a ding or a scrape! Wheels i have to say are a bit tatty.....

mods lower the value really, and there is only a few, i would think you would get more for it standard.

dont really think the private plate would add much to the value imo

ur better trying to standerdise it all again n sell the mods seperatley, thats assumin uv still got all the standard bits, ul probably get more for everything in total then

The lights are a year old so is the mirrors! Exhaust is only 2months old though. It was lowered and painted in August this year.

Well if u want to find out propperly visit www.whatcar.com and do a price evaluation for ur car urself.

Depending on who ur selling to, add a few hundred for ur mods (selling to boy racers) or drop a few if ur wanting to sell it to anyone. Normally people pay less for modded cars!

At a guess, id say 2k

in most cases mods will decrease the value, unless its some kind of show car....

most people buying a car will know what they are on about, no offense but mirrors exhaust and lights are not going to knock the price up 1k...

id still say 1500 as its got 82k on the clock and its S reg

i was including the £600 for the plate , without the plate it would be worth between £1750 - £2250

Parkers give the prive at £1850 in good condition (bear in mind a standard one will be a lot easier to sell)
