if i look closly, in line with my bonnet i can see a thin layer of road film / dust

am i right?

Good wash and couple layers of wax should make it stay clean longer.

what about "quick detailer"? seen it on CYC, would it work? and how do you use it?

Its used for claying but most obsessive cleaners use it to aid drying time and remove dust etc.

Just wash it again. Using a qd when the car has been driven will cause swirl marks no matter how much you use and how good it is.

I use it as a drying aid mostly.

the safest thing to do is wash it mate as using quick detailers on dust can give you nasty swirls.

I had my car washed and then a couple of days later it had dirt all over it. It hasnt rained or anything. Going to give it a proper clean this weekend though.

Yeah, this happends to me all the time. Bird poo's the worst culprit. I do need to invest in one of those Karcher Jet Spray systems for home cleaning, and stop chucking away divers.

mine gets stupidly dirty after just one quick drive inn the rdry but i live in the country and near a quarrry so the roads are very dusty but i get used to it, just clean it every week like me lol
