French Number Plate Question

Are French number plates legal?

Im thinking of getting French plates in black with white writing

They will look really nice on my colour scheme!

Let me know how likely i am to be stopped if they are not legal...

and is it advisory to get the standard yellow and white to avoid attracting attention!

black plates are illegal unless ur car is really old like before 1973 or something, get the normal coloured plates..

Must be right font, right colour, right spacing, reflective, and show makers details. Must show GB, EU or no country details. So...no French plates are not anywhere near legal
