strange rattle from engine

was out earlier and as i accelarated i noticed a strange rattle from the engine,
basically it starts rattling at about 2750rpm in every gear, engine temps seem normal, the noise seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine,
the noise sounds like rattling a stone in a can.... any ideas peeps

if it was drivers side i would of said upper engine moun(under ecu)

but as you say pass side id personally check wheels and suspension

Like mufcdouble said could be a loose mount of some sort, have you checked to see if anything is loose inside the car?

ok ill have a look in the morning, havent check inside, pretty sure it was from the engine, sounded really mechanical, was dark when i got back so couldnt really have a proper look
