hi, can anyone help? i know subs are ment to thump!!!

but my subs have like a heart beat sound even with there turned down, or with no music on.

its pissing me off!

ive tried the ground, swapind the speaker wires over, moving wires, nothing works.

maybe, and i dont know that much bout electricals, the beat is the drain from the battery trying to keep it alive??
Please help...

i have 2 12" audiobahn subs, and 1 2400usa crunch with volt metre.

i thought it might have been the earth, so i re-earthed it. i might try re-earthing again, i think i got a 4 or 8 gauge.

Check for shorts and bad wiring, easiest thing to do is to swap the amp with another to see if the amp is the problem.
Sounds like the amp is going in and out of protect, what's your battery voltage like?

Was a while ago... but my m8 had this on his car. I'm sure he fixed it by running a seperate small earth to the head unit. Just a ring-type connection onto one of the spare threded holes on the back of it.
