saxo has room for 3 in the back.
I dont see how 2 kids means its to small? its not like the baby is going to be needing picking up from school + mates for a while yet.

tell her that changing cars costs lots of moneys...
then tell her a second child is going to cost lots of moneys too and she will change her mind.
although it may backfire completely and she'l tell you to get rid of it for the cash:P

Definately get rid, I wouldn't even be asking to be honest.
Kids are without a doubt more important than a Saxo and I personally wouldn't put a child in a Saxo - I got rid of mine for a Focus, then moved onto a 307.

Without a doubt! I dont have kids yet but my step brother does and soon as he found out he was to be a fatehr he sold the saxo for a golf!
Its all about the safety, its not like your going to be going fast with a kid in the back whatever you drive

I got rid of my saxo because Im not prepared to risk the lives of anyone in my car, tbh a seat ibiza isn't the safest of cars, buts its a 3 star rather than a 2 star, abit more solid if you ask me.

secondly, don't even consider her feelings when it comes to the car. The car loves you more.

ive got a 9 week old daughter and hate having to cart her about in the saxo, she cant go in my offroader because the back has all been stripped out for recovery gear and subs!:fcuk: and its shite on diesel anyway! we were supposed to be getting a leon cupra 150tdi whwn she was still pregnant but beacause of lack of security because ive had loads of addresses in the last 3 years (due to being in the RAF and splitting with exes and stuff) we couldnt get the finance, and cant get a new car at the min because shes not working we are living off my wage. dont get me wrong im on a good wage, i earn more than her and her ex used to earn together on my own but the cost of living round here is quite steep. so getting this saudi job more than doubles what im on now so she can have a new car then. if i were you mate id get yourself an old passat or something like that for a decent price and just run it into the ground and then keep your saxo as your plaything, you need some time on your own to play with something otherwise youll go mad!lol
congrats mate anyway!
p.s sorry for the long read......

Somethng safer me thinks.
2 kids in a tin can? - safety first now.

2 adults and 3 young children is the perfect combination of people to fit 5 comfortably in a saxo tbh.
Once the kids are teenagers then you might need a bigger car.

im pretty sure you can get 2 child seats in the back of a saxo no probs
You won't get rear facing seats in the back of the saxo. We went to pick up 2 maxi cosi car seats we won on ebay for the twins in the VTR and they don't fit properly. They weren't straight on the back seat and they were on an angle up against the front seats. I personally won't be taking the twins in the saxo when they come. I don't think it's safe enough for them and don't want to risk it.
I would say sell the saxo if it was your family car. But if she has a 5 door 206 I don't see why you need to get rid of your car? I didn't want to take the boys around in the saxo but I didn't want to get rid of it either lol. So my boyfriend is using the saxo everyday and I'm going to use the family car, that way when I go out without them I can use the saxo still
Congrats on the impending new addition too

Deal on a VTR? Hahahaha.
Definitly get a "safer" car mate ... also gives you all more room and a better ride ...

If it was me I would keep the saxo, not worth the hassle considering there is still quite alot of room left. I agree playing with the seatbelts may be a bit of hassle but so is getting a new car. Entirely you're choice though, personally I wouldnt have any safety issues with them being in a saxo either..
