Hello, my friend is purchasing this amp http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/1180.html and these speakers http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/4701.html. He is going to be running his sub on 300w and the two speakers on 100w, will this damage the speakers?

Its wont damage the speakers as if anything they'd be slightly underpowered - 50W RMS from the amp and the speakers are 56W RMS

i wouldnt buy the speakers

yes it will damage them, kenwood can barely handle their RMS

Hes not running them on 50w, hes running them on 100w which i thaught was a bit high, before he goes blowing them up any good components which will work well with his setup?

I am also installing my own sound system at the moment and also need a good pair of components, thaught my normal door speakers would do unamped for a while but they gone all crackly now.

its impossible to use 2 channels on that amp to run at 100wrms x 2

the figures clearly state - "rms - 50 x 2 + 150 x1 (for sub)"

JBL gto 507 on ebay, check the link in my sig "a guide to budget audio" got everything you need to know
