Got a Ripspeed DV720 Touch Screen DVD player for my birthday, a year ago next week, and now its starting to just fcuk up.
It wont play copied CD's and is starting to skip every CD I play in it.
I heard they could be a bit dodgy, but didnt think this would happen to a 200 pound plus CD player after less than a year! :wall:
Im pretty sure the warranty from Halfords is only 6 months, so any ideas what I could do before I go in and speak to them this afternoon?
Cheers

I am pretty sure that all electric items purchased in this country have a 12 month warranty on them. If you take it back to them they have to prove to you that it is working otherwise they need to fix or replace it for you. Have a search for the Sales of Goods Act as I might be wrong.

yer think it should have a 12 month warranty on it, they mite send it off to get repaired instead of just replacing it, thats what happened to my mates.
