I (We) Spelt beer into the CDJ's

Started drinking yesterday at 3:30 :cool::cool:. Got a few crates from the shop. Then at 5 o'clock we walked back to mine (My parents are away).

Told people the rules, shoes off in the house, don't spill your beer and don't touch any cabenets or go in any draws.

Anyway, came up stairs to turb th pc on for some reason and then loaded up VDJ. Was having alaugh on the decks, mixing and scratching etc and i got a bit carriedd away and started dancing to my own mixes lol. I spilt the beer right into the Console and honks of beer. I took it apart this morning and washed it but it still wont work :(

Any ideas how to get it to work again. I dont want to spend another £120 on a new one.

My thinks i take it apart, submerge it in warm water and stick it in the airing cupboard for weeks?

Its the USB Version.

You want to clean it with something like meths or some form of alcohol. NOT WATER!

Meths evaporates.

Yer. I want some CDJs. Theres so good. I would had been brewing if this happened to them.

Cheers for the advice. I got some Locotte (sp?) inthe garae. Its what machanics use to clean breaks when they got oil on them, or something.

it was such a good night.

Yeah CDJ's are awesome got a thou and a lil 400 and both great bits of kit def worth the price i reckon

as said above, i would use some sort of solvent cleaner so that it evaporaters and then let it dry out for a while

I know this might sound stupid but it does work

put some it in a bag then fill the bag with rice, then put it in an airing cuboard for about 24hours it worked on my phone and on my ds :y:

Right,

I'ver but some cleaner on it (That aerosole thats in a green and white can) Its cleaned it up and left it to dry/ evaporate. but it still dosn't work. well it dose, just the cross fade and the volume dosn't.
