Does it just feel slower than before? or is it misfiring, etc.
When was the last time it was serviced?

Easier to take it to a garage to be honest with you. It will just check your valves, piston rigs and head gasket are all in good condition. If you are losing pressure then the car will feel sluggish.
Could also be a partly blocked air intake/filter. Clogged fuel filter..
Then there's always the fact that it may just be in your imagination :P

Hi,
i'd agree with the other guys about getting a good service done it on.I have a Pipercross X induction cone and i feel it has added a little perfomrance from 3000 rpm upwards but has reduced performance on initial acceleration, although it does help to gove a great sound with an uprated decatted exhast
