Right first off...

Im not clued up on sound systems really so my question is, are these amps any good?

Now since its winter im putting my sub back in (as its a heavy cunt, and no good for racing around with) and the amp just now is pants.

My mate is selling a Farenheit 1800 2ch amp relatively cheap, but will it be any use for just running a single 10 inch?

I don't know the RMS figures yet, as I havent been to have a look yet - but if anyone can shed any constructive light on this, I'd be very grateful

Ive just had a little peek, and its fucking HUGE..

literally about the width of the car. havent wired it up yet - but it looks a little too powerful for a single 10" smileys/smiley11.gif

Never heard of them tbh, whats the combined amp rating of the fuses on the side of the amp

1800 is the peak power, so rms isnt that high.

combined current 90A (3*30A)

the sub I have just now is a pissy little Vibe blackair - but the way I see things is that if i decide to expand the system a bit...I can use this. my mates selling it cheap cos he's moving house and doesnt have room for it.

I tested it out today, and I didnt dare bridging it, I only ran it on 1 channel and oooof smileys/smiley3.gif I didnt even have the levels turned up, what a difference to my old amp!!

heres pics my mate took of it this morning
