Pitting is where little tiny pin prick holes start appearing on your wheels mate. You can also get white marks etc. Are you having problems? what wheel cleaner do you use?

you really need to be using a ph balanced wheel cleaner especially on wheels with a polished lip.
I use bilberry wheel cleaner, its brilliant, may be worth you buying some.
Also when they are clean i would apply a wheel sealant to protect them.

yeh get some decent cleaner, the white are marks are due to oxidisation of the metal because the laquer is being worn away from the wheel cleaner i believe

Mine has styarted to do this on some of the curbing on mine.
