check straps wear out, Think from citroen they are £17 but a sod to fit

i have same problem, check strap is your culprit, the spring wears out

Over time they come loose on almost every car going, and click! Look what is loose and tighten it up :y:

I did! I WD40'd the life out of the hinges but it just makes it a little quieter

yeah the click has turned into a clunk now at this stage! :wacko:
