Engine Autodiagnostic lamp comon :S HELP

as above that warning light has come on
in the manual it says
it it flashes or lights it indicates a fault within the ignition or injection systems.
drive to citreon blah blah

the only problem i can feel with my car as it isnt all starting properly :/
any checks or thing that i could change or anything
or anyone who has had this problem
what was it?
isit a common problem?

If the engine light has come on then get a diagnostic done, this may indicate the problem matey

Need to get mine done to, comes on when it likes to, or if i put my foot down. Did you get yours sorted Sarke?

Ow much is that!?A good price is usually £20-25 (personally I still think that is a rip off :n:). Or you can get yourself a code reader and check it yourself for a similar amount :y:

where i get one of them? do i plug it to my laptop or something?

Im sure someone did a thread on this, they were saying you plug into ure pc/laptop with some freeware software and itll tell you the code then ull google it and google will tell you what wrong with it, something along them lines anyways!
