as above and slightly squeeks when i turn right, only rarely though. any ideas?? my thought was - brake pads fucked, sounds like metal on metal.
Feedback would be hot.

it would grind discs are most probably warped to u brake alot at high speeds i.e racing

could be your cv joint gone on the driveshaft, common problem, turn wheels on full lock and check it.

or possibly the wheel bearings are f**ked it will grind when you turn in a specific direction

i had a similar problem and was told by one garage that old breaks had metal fibres in them so it was likely to be that touching the wheel.
Another garage told me that the breaks sometimes get a layer of this stuff on them.. it simply means rubbing them down.

you may have a sticking caliper on that side, could be a number of things, whip the wheel of and have a look man... smileys/smiley2.gif

cant be old brakes, is a phase 2 2002 saxo, so think ill have to whack the wheel off and have a butchers
