iv driven through that tunnel many a time, its in newport on way into cardiff on M4 i think. Echo's like crap in there.

whats the point of anti-lag? just to make the flames?

Does what it says on the tin mate, prevents turbo lag by keeping the turbo spooling when the throttle isnt being depressed. Theres a few ways of doing it, none are particularly good for road cars though its pretty hard on the turbo and other parts.

For example, one is to cause unburnt fuel in the exhaust manifold to combust, forcing the turbo to keep spooling. Hence the explosions and pops. But everything gets very hot and parts wear out quickly
