Saxo Knocking

Hi,
my daughter has a Saxo that has a knocking noise coming from the offside when she turns left. The car also knocks when engaging or disengaging any gear. Any help would be appreciated.

normally when it knocks on lock its the droplink

but when engaging gear...

could be an engine mount? what clutch is in it? i assume standard, my car kind of knocks when the clutch is brought up but its a paddle clutch

can you jack the car in the air and turn it from lock to lock with the engine running and also put it gear etc

My saxo also had this problem, turns out was suspension just needed a bit of lubricating.
