i have just bought the jvc KD-AVX1 DVD/CD Receiver with 3-inch colour monitor and am looking to upgrade the speakers too but could do with some advice which ones are hot on the market at the mo cheers smileys/smiley4.gif

hopefully not quite going that far .... YET! but a good set of front speakers and a good set of 6*9 should do for now but not sure which make to get smileys/banghead.gif

dont bother, take the money you would have spent on them and add them to your front speaker budget or even an amp to power them.
Look for a set of front components, infiniti are pretty well priced and good for the cash and if you can stretch an amp to run them miles better than the dross a set of 6x9s will put out

if you are not going for a sub a set of 6x9 will give you a get more bass and a bit more sound. If you are going to get a sub just stick with the front components. the pioneer components are good. I like that jvc unit you have got we have it on display at work and every one that sees it likes it.

cheers for the advice mate. yeah i needed a new cd player and thought why settle with one that only dose some of the things i want it to i would recomend it to any one it gives good sound quilty and of course plays dvds which is a bonus and is loaded with extras i forgot to say i allready have a amp and twin subs in the boot
