Hello,
Im new to the forum. So thanks in advance for any pointers.

The problem is this...

I have just got the missus a second hand T reg saxo 1.1.

There is no key fob central locking. It only works from the key lock.

The drivers door will open both locks but will only lock the drivers if that makes sense.

The passenger door will open and close both locks. If she sits in the car and pushes the passenger side button down it locks both sides. But when she opens the drivers side door it opens the locks.

She is having to walk around the car with the drivers side shut.

Open the passenger side and push the button down to lock both doors.

Pain in the ass i know.it seems to me that the passenger side door is the master. Is this easily swapped around ie-swaping plugs etc.Is there anything i can check??

Thanks again.... LEE

i think its more a problem somewhere in the wiring, as it should lock both regardless of which door you turn the key in

unless citroen wired it up weird?

don`t think your right there. if i locked/unlocked mine from the passenger door it would only do that door. if i unlocked/locked from the drivers it would do them all.

edit - but i had a fob so didn`t matter. only reason i know this is when my car got broken into through the passenger door. all the rest of the car was locked bar the passenger door

thats weird

thought it would be like the peugeots where both doors do, well, both doors!

in that case, you need to find the central locking box and swap the wires from the drivers and passengers doors, yes?

Cheers for your help, strange isnt it.Hopefully it will be a case of just swapping the wires around.

Where abouts roughly is the box...lol
