one of my mates has one and it aint that good. they have a common problem of cracking round the shell and the sony ericsson customer service is shocking.
he preferred his Samsung Innov8 which is the best phone out at the moment IMO!

I have had no problems with mine. And there is some amazing things you can do with the phone itself. Are they replacing the shell?

Look ok, but the Android OS that comes on the phone is still fairly buggy. But, that said there are some cool apps like on the iPhone.

it started rather small on his phone but eventually gets bigger and bigger and if you leave it can split all the way. when you make a complaint they will ask you to send it to sony ericsson for repair. my mate waited 3-4 weeks for his phone to come back, and when it did, they forgot to put the 2 rubber parts in the back and he asked for them to be sent to him but they said he had to send it back for another 3-4 weeks just for a mistake they made by missing out the 2 rubber bits.

My mate has just stepped into work and said that it is an advisory now as he didnt have to pay 4 it. at first they tried to charge him £40!

Its not mate, there is one type of android. Go for windows mobile of anything its reliable as hell. And you cant get free tomtom 7 on an android ;)

for the repair of the common fault, but then they made it an advisory.

I've just got a Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition... Not sure if I'd recommend it though. The screen clarity and brightness is amazing with that AMOLED thing but as far as the touchscreen goes it's pretty unsensitive. Not as sensitive as my Viewty was anyway. 8.0MP camera is nice but I don't ever take pictures with it lol... Some nice little features on it. And the choice between touchscreen or buttons is nice :)

Being an ex-mobile phone repair Technician I have looked at loads of phones and I suggest either Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, it doesn't really have any issues, What network are you on?

you cant be serious?
it dont matter what network you are on its a problem with the phone...
its an advisory against the phone, therefore, problem with the phone :p
