Hey guys I recently bought a 1999 Saxo 1.6i VTR.
There's a few minor problems with it but not enough to affect handling/performance etc and they're being sorted but I've got two problems that I can't find the answer for on these forums or anywhere.
The first and most important problem is my Immobiliser.
My mate tried to turn the engine on with the bonnet open and the immobiliser kicked in. (He's a bit dumb in the head)
And so my immobiliser is currently turned off because if I attempt to turn it on at the blackbox in the engine bay, the siren or tone constantly goes off which of course is a great nuisance.
I tried ringing a citroen dealership and they were of no use to me and were pretty ignorant if I'm honest.
Do I need a code to reset it or if not then how can I reset it so it will work? It's got switches next to the key slot numbered 1-6. (Picture below)

My other problem is the Rev Counter
The rev counter doesn't show how many revs are being used when i press the accelerator.
I've checked all of the fuses and relays and they seem to be okay so my only guess is it could be a wire from ECU or something? I think I located the ECU on the car but not 100% sure. Again does anybody know why this fault could be occuring?
Hope to here from you lot
