were do you fit your numberplate and numberplate lights when you flush the boot. it just has a standard vtr back bumper.

thanks but no thanks. i think the police will pull you over all the time for them. i like were d9vtr has his number plate but were are the lights supposed to go?

you need numberplate lights for mot and i just wnt to do it the proper way. have you got any other ideas?

they do pass an m.o.t!!!!!
had a nova come in at the garage where i work with a flushed boot and he had the light and bolt kit on it and it was quite good!!

a genius idea in my mind!!!!!!!!!

definitly what im gonna do!!!!

The other way round it is to have a recess put into the bumper and have lights in the recess. smileys/smiley2.gif

that is another way!!

im currently customizing a spare vts rear bumper that ive got!!!
ive cut and bonded a 106 recess into the bumper!!
and smoothing the trim in aswell!!!!
itll look really good when its finished!!!!
im doin it for my mate!!!
a bodyshop was gonna charge him £200 to do it!!
im charging him £100
and its only bout 6 hours work!!!!smileys/smiley17.gif

number plate light-bolts are absolutely legal and 100% guaranteed to pass an MOT.

There's a guy round my way who has cut holes in his bumper behind where the plate goes.
Then he's put lights in the holes so the plate is effectivley back lit if you get the idea.
i thought it was a brill idea when i saw it so maybe you could do something like that
