View Full Version : Battery lights allways on ?

Help, My battery light is allways on i have a brand new 400 amp i think 400 anyways battery, cars allways started first time in snow rain, but since i put the new battery in and just before i replaced the old one my light been on and dosent want to go off i have disconected and reconected its firmly on with the clips i dont understand ?

mate i had the same problem and it was nothing to do with the battery but there was a clip on the front bottom end by the radiator that had come out and it was that causing the problem i dont know what its called but can show u on a pic where it is.

yea i have noticed a clip out by the radiator though it was off the lights but its not because they have all got plugs in its black yeah get a picture up please that would help mate !

Have a look around the manifold for burnt/melted wires. Otherwise could be a poor earth or worse case your alternator died due to trying to keep an old dead battery charged. Good luck

mani is heat wrapped and there isent no wires are around my manifold, my altenator must be okay because my new battery has been on for like a month now maybe longer and its doing the job must just be wires of some sort i dont have this plug on my radiator http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f144/saxoadam/BleedingVts2.jpg the blue plug ?
