Ok, my engine managment light is on, ive had it on the dio machine nd it says that bank 1 oxygen sensor is too low, its bull its a brand new sensor, i replaced the cat a few months before with a cheapy 1 which i presume will be why it reads as too low. but the main problem is that its miss fireing. and badly! when you put your foot down and try to pull away it just judders and miss's till you start to get through the revs then when your gunn'in it its fine! Ive been told to replace the "Crank shaft Sensor" which is supposed to be a common fault but that wont come up on the dio machine, which may because of a loose wire inside the sensor at the time it miss fires?

Any help would be really appreciated before the saxo is a melted mess!

At work on Sat but i'm free all day Sunday. I've got a spare pre-CAT lambda in my old manifold, I'll get the blowtorch on it the morra and get it out ready to swap if we need to.

Bet it's using a fair bit of fuel is it?

I ran mine for ages without the second lambda sensor - the light was on but it ran perfect. That second sensor can't alter the way the car runs in any way... only that first one which sticks out the top of the mani can.

We'll try swapping the top one for mine and see if that sorts it.
