can you fail Your MOT for not having any Front fog lights

No, but if you have fogs fitted they have to work, but if you just have 2 holes, you're fine

Just as a second opinion the above is correct, if a light is on your car it must work

Actually that's not completly true... Front fogs are not part of an MOT neither are reverse lights. The only requirement reguarding fog lights is a single rear fog fitted to either centre or O/S.

Don't forget anything that isn't part of the test is completly irrelevant reguardless of whether it works or not.

Correct, ive taken countless number of cars for mot's and they are never checked.

oh well, ive always been lead to believe if you have fog lights on a car they must work

Either way, if they're on your car you'd want them to work...
