Dunlop fast response they where £50 each and they stick like glue in the wet. Seem to have lasted ages aswell.

Thats what I've got on the front aswell, the Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31's, pretty good grip wet and dry.

Total n00b when it comes to tires, but dont all these semi slick tires or proxes or R888 dont they wear out quicker? or become illegal quicker?
Am guessing not but am a unsure.

Yeah, you're pretty much sacrificing wear for grip

r888 are track tyres.f1/toyo t1r are very good road tyres, softer rubber wears quicker but gives much better grip wet,dry and inbetween.a small price to pay imo.

Toyo R888 are track tyres but are also road legal.

Yoko's or toyo 888's seem to be the best for dry track days.
Goodyear eagle f1 asometrics (sp) are the best for road and wet tracks.
Michlin Ps's and conti' sports are next best things on the road/track to the asometrics.
Goodyear eagle f1 gsd3's are the next best thing and what i have all round after the above.
For a saxo id recomend toyo t1r's not as good as the others but are good enough for a saxo buy miles and should see good wear.
Matt.
