will this be ok for my westie gearbox?

The recommended gear oil is SAE 75W/80. You will need two litres to re-fill the gearbox. it should be the same price so id just use the recommened stuff mate

ive got 2 litres of this stuff mate, carlube 75w90.
in squirty bottles.

why have you still got it then if it was recommended?

IMO id stick with the proper stuff recommended by Citroen

because i was gonna change oil but then realised it was a clutch problem, so im left with 2 litres of oil i dont need

75w90 will be fine imo, i use it and never had any problems.

thanks for the replys, my dads a mechanic and said it will be fine just wanted to make sure the reson i got this oil is because i asked for wrong one at motorworld lol but i got 5 litre of it for £20 and its carlube :) cheers
