Would u say its worth lowering it the full 60mm andwill it improve handeling. Also would 15 fit snuggly after its been lowerd?

60 mm will look very low, will it improve handling? most likely no, if anything it will make it worse, no suspension travel, geometry all wrong.

i dropped mine 60 and she felt alot better, but you need the whole hog, springs and dampers, as scott said if you just use springs with no uprated shocks you will have to much travel.
i think 40ish is best for handling??? a strut brace would help too smileys/smiley2.gif

You are opening a world of pain. The car is designed so that the linkages operate a given (albeit flexible) angles. If you alter the height, you alter the angles. You are looking at damage that could run into thousands. Most peole are dim and don't notice the damage, but wait til MoT time comes around.
Yould also have to take the car to places with specialised ramps for gearbox work etc. Trust me, I've been there, I returned a poor man

imo, easy enough to have 4 wheel alignment done after lowering. granted lowering 60mm will give more negative camber and isn't strictly ideal for handling, but it isn't enough to cause damage that will 'run into the thousands'. i've had my car lowered 60mm for nearly 3 years and have only replaced one droplink and 2 ball joints, not bad for a 7 year old car with 112000 miles on it. also easy enough to get a lowered car onto a ramp, just use blocks of wood or use a garage where center section of the ramp is sunk into the ground, as i do.
