how to remove torsion bar washers???

ok so i finaly got 3 of the 4 torx screws out of the ends of my torsion bars now i cant get the washers holding the bars in off complete ball ache how do they come off tryed hitting them the way where the little gap is but dont look like its budging any help here please:wall:

they have to be in the centre before they come out....
i use aflat bladed screwdriver and apowerful magnet, once they are in the middle use the magnet to pull it out equal.

am i doing it right to start then hit it towards the little gap way till theres no gap and :geek:does only one washer off each bar have to come out?

yh you have to "tap" it untill the washer fills the space as its then centre...

i took all 4 out then i could hit bars out from the other side.:P

yeah get what u mean its my 1st 1 and them washers are a pain just hope the now beam is sound cause its second hand scrappy job and it caked in crud is there any way of telling if it a good 1 before i put it on going 2 get the torsions loose before i put it on the car cause the last 1 i ad from the scrappy was naff didnt relise till put it on gutted its the 1 am changing now the at the scrappy changed it for me like but he said the last 1 was good and it wernt?
