Okay, what I currently have:
Megs Gold Class Shampoo
Megs stage 3, step 3 wax
Megs Endurance tyre gel
Megs quick detailer
Megs quick clay (needs replacing)
AG SRP
AG Paint renovator
AG bumper care
AG glass polish
Simonz wheel cleaner (LOL)
A large selection of Tesco and Kent MF cloths
Couple of applicator pads
Terry cotton cloths
Polishing cloths
Cheapo wash mitts
I need to get myself some wheel cleaner, some sealant and some decent wax. I heard good stuff about the Colinates (SP?) and Billberry wheel cleaner.
Shall I got for the AG Gloss protection? As I could buy it from Halfrauds in the 3 for 2, along with a new lambs wool wash mitt and maybe some engine gunk.
What do you all recommend for Icelandic paintwork?

I'd ditch the AG SRP as I don't rate it whatsoever, a few others will say the same.
As said, Bilberry Wheel Cleaner is awesome stuff.
Sealent I'm using Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish and I love it.

yeah go for 5 litres of bilberry.
wax wise collinite will last an age and is normally used over winter but you can get better looking wax
id go the clearcote range if it was me

I am not 100% certain about the SRP either, but I only use it once every 6months so it does the job then.

That is what some of my mates swear by..
Do you recommend a Sealant and Wax, or just seal it?
Luke
18th April 2009, 20:55
Aye as Elliott said, Clearkote is good as I know someone who swears by that and sells it too.
I'd recommend Wax and Sealent, better off with more layers of protection and so on.

I don't want to be spending upwards of like £40.. and if I get 5L of Billberry thats £24, plus a sealant is coming up on £20 too. Hmmm.. Do I need 5L ? lol
Luke

1L will be enough I reckon...I bought 1L, diluted it and used it on 3 cars already, still got well over 3/4s of the bottle left.

If you use DetailedObsession, say Luke from Red Valeting recommended you - might get some discount as I know Gareth who runs it.

They don't stock Billberry though :(
What clay bar do you recommend while I am on the case?
Luke

I'd recommend this...
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/sonus-ultra-fine-detailing-clay-pkg/2/prod_37.html
I sell that and recommend it usually. Also Tim @ CYC rated it highly the other day.
