Cat1 alarms

I'd ask if they are worth getting but i already know they are.

But which is the best make to go for?

My brother got a cobra cat1 alarm fitted on his shogun, they went to his work & fitted it there & then, it cost him £250 all in.

Ive been looking at the ones Gap Security do, the clifford cat1's, but you pay it off over 3 years & i dont plan on having the car that long + it would probably cost abit more if you pay it off straight away.

Theres a special place in barrowford that fit alarms but my brother got a quote off them & it would cost £100 more then what he paid for his + they fitted one on my dads van & its starting to cock up.

I'd prefer one that is insurance approved.

Cost isnt really a problem but i'd prefer it if it was fair cheap, gives me more money do to my car up.

Gap Security fitted mine mate. They Sub-contract local reputable Auto-Electricians in your area to do it. I had the Concept G5 650 fitted. It included tilt, smash and and proximity sensors. All came to £520 and it saved me £400 on insurance, therefore I effectively paid £120 smileys/smiley16.gif

Bloody hell adam, £520 all in, thats sounds very steep if you ask me.

Ifso they could become a sax-p partner, iam sure they would get some business if the prices were right, maybe you should talk to your boss & talk to simo about this.
