when i go over slight bumps theres a knock on the front, its been there since christmas so i changed the wishbone bushes on both side as they were badly worn but the knocking noise is still there???? could it be the top suspension mounts???

its not them either, i first thort it was them so i replaced the one that was stuffed and replaced it just over a month ago again. its more of a solid lump not a little knock, no matter how loud the cd player is you still feel and hear it, its like something loose going tight against something.

Could be top mount then, or maybe an engine mount?

have you checked your shocks! i have the very same problem and it has turned out 2 be a busted shock on the drivers side! is it more of a hard thud than a knocking noise!!

they look ok but you cant tell from looks. it dont even have to hit bumps at speeds its just "bang" on dips in the road like a stone it will do it, half inche hight kurbs roling up then. its really anoying me now. my bro is a mechanic and when he take it out it dont do it! well thats what he say probs just coz he dont want to fix it for me.
