as above, when i reverse and put my foot on the break i get a clonk noise, its quite loud, any ideas?

thinking it could be where the caliper bolts on its worked loose so going to have a look later on, what else should i look at apart from driveshaft, lower arm or droplink?

It might just be that your brake pad carriers/pads are a bit worn and they are moving about a bit in the carrier so when you press brake in reverse they rotate a fraction with the brake disc and make the knock as they hit the top of the carrier.

I hope this makes sense!

as said above, anything on the braking system, pads, caliper bolts, carrier bolts.
DO they rattle when driving?

this happened in my old 1.1, when i changed my pads it stopped, so either it was the pads or something was loose, def in the braking system tho

ah this happened on mine, however i just ignored it then had to brake hard goin forwards one day when the cluncking happened all the time and sounded really bad, took of the rear drums on one side and they were fine then on the other the brake shoes fell on the floor as the drum came off!! would def check rear brakes
