ecu troubles

Hi just having trouble with the ecu on my westcoast, Ive just found this site and it looks great, sorry that my first post is for help but ive just changed the ignition barrell , ring that goes round the ignition and also the ecu all from a westcoast of the same year, the car turns over but wont fire. the imobiliser light is on so im assuming there is a imobiliser somewhere but I cant find it,
Any help would be much appriciated
