Need help quickly!!!!!!!!!!

im 17, 18 on the 16th of may.
my car insurance runs out on the 28th of april but my renewal is 1400 on my car at the age of 17.

But when im 18 i tried elephant and it was 1000 tpft but i cant take out the policy until im 18 otherwise its around 3k.

i want to change my car for a 1.6 focus or a vtr

i need insurance until the 16th of may, so i can cancel and then take out the policy on my new car with elephant.

i cant get short term car insurance.

any help????

Yes you can get short term insurance ! Speak to the company you are with its normally about £35 a week

Have a shop around, im sure some companys offer short term policy's

Take out a policy, cancel within the 14 days they allow you, then you've got like 2 or 3 days without a car, work it out so its least hassle to you, sorted!

how much refund do you get?

found direct line policy as named driver for 951 PA

gives you 2 weeks to cancel

i have to travel to warwick to work though lol
