I've become a big Froch fan ever since the pascal fight! He's after the big fights and will not avoid anyone.. as opposed to some fighters... *cough* calzaghe *cough*. We haven't seen the best from Froch, not by a long shot. He was so nervous in that fight it was unbelievable. But that's fair enough as its his 1st fight in America.
There is something extraordinary about him, his style is unorthodox and he's very stiff at times leaving himself open to many shots. However he can afford to do this with his granite chin. He may of been knocked down but he new exactly were he was and he got straight back up.
In my opinion he got out boxed through out the fight by Taylor who I might add is a terrific fighter.. But he showed great determination and didn't give up. Nobody could predict what was going to happen in the 12th.. That has to be one of the best rounds of boxing I have ever seen. Maybe even the best from a British fighter.
If I were calzaghe I would keep well away from froch as I believe froch would beat him... Maybe not a calzaghe in his prime but currently I believe froch would knock him out. However this fight will never happen so we should look forward to froch's next potential opponents such as Kessler or Pavlik... can't wait for those fights.
I have to say though it was a very classy response from Taylor afterwards, refreshing to see. Also TV couverage was a joke! We refuse to back our only world champion. Makes me so angry! We should get right behind him.

You know what?..I couldnt agree more!
After the Pascal fight, I noticed that Froch's defence needs worked on ie, getting hit and doing nothing about it, hands very low etc but his chin is literally granite..He can take a dig or two, unlike other british fighters at the moment..He's the exact opposite of Amir Khan defense wise..Amir can't take a dig & is chinny but his defence has improved lots..Froch is..well..the opposite imo..As for the Calzaghe Froch thing, reminds me of the Witter Hatton situation..It will never happen imo, not because Carl would beat Calzaghe but because it's empty threats (Which is different to the Hatton/Witter argument, as I could see Witter giving Hatton a whoopin')
Froch for me, Sat Night, was easily beaten if the fight was 10 rounds and I dont personally rate Jermain T..Very chinny & cant really take a decent dig without falling (Beat Hopkins twice, but then lost to Pavlik twice..?!!)So this fight is big for The Cobra but it's not huge by any means..He needs to take, imo, Lucian Bute, KPavlik etcNOT Calzaghe, Joe would easily outbox Froch..But the first fighters I mentioned would give Froch a proper fight
As for the coverage, well, that was just an un-funny joke

I was working so listened to it on radio. Amazing fight, but apparently he knew the other guy was lacking in stamina and had planned for a big ending. Risky, but it worked out well

i think he looked terrible tbh, completely outboxed for most of the fight. he was lucky that JT has no stamina whatsoever otherwise the scorecards would have made him look stupid. and he is completely retarded calling out calzaghe, it would be another jeff lacy job.
on a side note, hatton v pacman predictions peeps??

Absoluterrubbish mate lol..Every fighter says that
"Ohh I realised he was hurt/tired/lacking stamina so I took my time and wore him down"..Balls tbh..Froch was outboxed all night long and happened to get lucky when Taylor was 100% knackered..Plus Taylor is average & has many chinks in his armour!

He did look terrible..Calzaghe would do a job on him, I think he & everyone knows it
As for Hatton V Pacman, I can see Hatton trying to push Pacman back and Pacquiao using his left hand to his advantage thus probably a TKO for Pacquiao..Will probably be similar to Hatton v Mayweather..Ricky Hatton is one dimensional and relies on hitting & holding all night long..Pacman will ruin him..Fancy a bet Stinky lol?

the only way hatton could lose the fight is on points, i dont think pacman has the power to k'o him. but i honestly see hatton stopping him before it goes to the cards.
