But, when you crash and they dont pay out, you have lost ya car + Ya money your working hard to fork out for :S ?

You must really have a shit job.

Because i can afford to pay for a 1.4 Westcoast as my first car modded @ 17.

Sorry Fhe is wrong. He means you should be the main driver. If your Dad is the main driver on the policy and you drive it more, thats fronting.

you will lose your ncb that you earned last year,if you dont go out in your own name within 2 years.and if you have a bump pops is gonna be pissed with you for losing his ncb.

Idd, Lisa thats a MUCH Better way to do it.

Because your old man also has another car regged in his name i assume / same for your monther.

Just get ya own policy, If you cant.

Get a 1.1 and suffer for a year.

Is it really worth risking your papa's ##years no claims?

More than likely you'll have a bump. The VTR is a fast car for any 17 year old no matter what size their E-Dicks are.

I wouldn't have thought it's that much to insure in your own name with you as main driver seeing as your 19. I'm getting quotes for a VTR and they're about £1600, fully comp. I'm 17.

Depends on postcode just as much as age dan.

I paid 3,650 on a VTR for the first year.

this site will tell u if its ur postcode thats givin u a shitty quote... if u live in an ok area then ur best findin another insurer

i believe insurance policys dont quote a "main driver" any more, but a "policy holder" and then "named drivers"

apart from losing your no claims youve nothing to worry about!

very nice saving :)
