Note hands and seating position....

You can't drive a car properly with one hand on the top of the steering wheel and sitting with your seat reclined near enough into the back seat.

Awesome driving, some close calls though.

I did not expect a Saxo to make those kinda times.. How does that put it in the 'hot hatch category'

Focus RS and Astra VXR are not much faster are they

i thought a lap of the full ring at 8.53 was lambo territory? lol

What suspension / engine / braking etc setup has it got?

chinkostu
29th April 2009, 12:36
completely standard according tosome of his posts

just under 9 minutes though, thats astounding!

would be quicker if he stopped hitting the limiter and being in the right gear for some corners but good technique!

not a perfect lap in any means, but comitted at least.

with driver skill track knowledge a standard vts should be capable of mid to low 9 mins BTG.

Remember this kids... no matter how fast you are on the ring, Sabine can do it faster in a van.

nope definately 9's...

mid 8's your talking subaru territory BTG.

There's absolutely no way that's standard. It has an exhaust and induction kit, no doubt cams too! There is nowhere near enough body roll and bouncing for standard suspension, and standard brakes would fade after a few mins.

That aside he's well commited and pushing hard, looks to know the track pretty well and the time shows :D

Didn't she struggle to do it in 10 mins though?
