saxo smoking

hi just been out in my car and there is smoking coming from the engine bay, i then pulled up at my place and there was a trail of what it looked like water.

But it doesn't look like its coming from the rad where i thought it might be and it smells very horrible.

anyone had the same problem before or know what it might be?

is it just a watery like substance? mixed with coolant and very hot it does tend to smell so it very well might be coolant thats leaking
