Mark 2 Front End Conversion [Archive] - Saxperience

I tried searching, but couldn't really find much about this.

Basically I'm just wondering what's needed to do a MK2 front end conversion on a MK1.

Is it just the case of replaceing panels etc

EG:

Bonnet
Wings
Headlights
Slam Panel?

Cheers to anyone who can help and/or point me in the direction of a thread where someones done it before.

ye you need bonnet, wings, lights , slam panel and that is it . after u might aswell get a mk2 vts engine slap it in the you have compleatly changed from mk1 to mk2 lol :y:

Is there not an issue with the 1 plug to 3 plug ecu doing that though? I could get an early 1 Plug Mk2 Engine I suppose. I kinda fancy this as a project... hmmm.
