I'm sure some of you remember this thread I made a few days ago:

Well, as luck would have it. Yesterday morning a van ploughed into it when it was parked on the side of the road. The driver stopped and gave his details and it's all going through his insurance which is good. Although I'm completely sure the car will be written off. The wheel is completely buckled, so buckled in fact the tyre came off. And looking behind the wheel I can see a lot of the *insert correct name for the parts behind the wheel* are bent and cracked.

So now I have to listen to her bang on about her brand new corsa courtesy car. Although I don't think she'll be so happy when she only gets about £200 to buy a new car with. Oh well a lot of you said the old one needed to be scrapped and you got your wish :homme:

the car has to have a valid mot and you must have owned it for 2 years for it to count towards that goverment scheme, you see these are the things that they dont tell you lol

It has MOT etc. But they've only had it 18 months. Surely you can't trade in a car thats a write off either?

Not sure I know Citroen are running their own scheme. I think the government one is due to start relatively soon?
