Work rant...

So,i work part time ATM due to my work beeing cocks when i was fulltime a few months back...I work 1-5 mon-thurs

Yesterday car went for MOT and failed,but i was there from 9.30 till 3PM due to a new mechanic beeing an utter SPAZ!
So i called work twice letting them know i might be late,then saying i'mah gonna be very late. Boss said it was ok and to come to work and make up my hours whenever i could....ok then

Now i get a voicemail of a mate at work saying there's a shitstorm at work because i didnt turn up?
I couldnt.....oh and when i WAS on the way to work y-day at 4 ish,my boss called saying no point staying after 5 o clock as no-one else would be in..ok fair point

why didn't you leave the car at the garage, go to work and then pick it up at home time? Thats what i do.

there is not one backstabber where i work, all pretty upfront and wouldn't let someone wrongly take a fall...

yeah mate.... why did you feel the need to stay with your car ?? drop it off be on your way and they will phone you when its done, no point in waiting for it to be finished
