WTF is a bonnet bra?

I’ve seen plenty all around MFN an I ant got a clue what they are or what they do?..
I heard they are to protect your bonnet from chips off the road?
But surely the clear film would be loads better as you don’t notice it an its got to be cheaper?!?!? Am I just being thick?

All they do is protect the front end from stone chips.
Some people just have them on for style, mainly in the DUB scene :D

Its a bra for your bonnet. Stops your car from getting back ache if it is has big tits.

But yeah stops stone chips. I think they look gash TBH.

Mine was gash it stopped stone chips but left scratches in my bonnet and chipped my paint work in two places were it rubbed, was worse than stone chips

they look good on the rite car,but imo a saxo just wouldn't look rite wi one.
They do have some associated problems though such as they can start to rub paint off if left on too long.

i found just having it on a couple of days it would happen, espically on motorways at about 70 i could see the lil triangle things on top flapping about :n:

I had mine on for about 5 days ish and was ok. You sure you had it on tight?

Yeah... they disguise the car so that spys from other manufacturers don't steal any ideas before the car is reveiled

106pete's VTS has a bonnet bra. It's the only saxo that looks alright with one on imo.
