Wining sound through the system?

hello,

after fitting my system i get this wining sound when i put my foot down, i know its got to do with the wiring but which 1?

its probably the ground cable

if you dont solve it that way, you can simply buy a "ground loop isolator", to prevent this from happening

(hint: if you choose the ground loop isolator, buy only 1, for front components. connect your sub through a low pass filter (crossover), and you shouldnt hear wining anywhere)

I dont think its the ground problem, what else could it be?

HU inner fault, amp inner fault, bad connections (ground most frequently)

99% of the time, it's the earth from the amp to the car body. Just undo it and make sure the paint is ground away so you get a good connection between the wire and the screw/bolt.

If not, this could be down to the RCA's and power cable crossing over somewhere.

but I reckon it's your earth.

Are the speakers amped up??

earth was fine, i think its the rca cable, it was loose

it could be connection on jack in amp or HU, one of the pins could have got loose

its sorted now mate, it was the rca cable (was loose)

i got the same problem have done for a good while now, just not had time to sort it out, i have 6x9's, soon to be front components and a sub. the winning coming from me 6x9's, nothing to do with ground cable, if i buy one of those ground loop isolator things...where should i fit it? know where i can get one from?

are the 6x9s through the amp?

if so ground issue.

yeh they are, the ground cable seems to be in place fine though! will have another look tomorrow and see what happens, its been like this since it was fitted if i remember correctly!

still doing that annoying wining noise! i re-cut all the wires and its still doing it, what can i do now to resolve it?
